A two-person rap video starts with two clear portraits, one for each performer. In BARFRAME, select Duo, upload both photos, write a short story or verse, and review the model and credit cost before generating. The references guide the model; they do not guarantee an exact likeness or an exact head count.
1. Choose one clear portrait per person
Use photos you own or have permission to use. Each image should clearly show one person's face. Avoid collages, group photos, mirrors and heavy obstructions: these make the intended cast less clear. Similar lighting and framing are a useful starting point, although they are not a guarantee of better results. Do not upload a third person's photograph simply as a style reference.
2. Set up the duet
- Open the studio and choose Duo.
- Add the first portrait to the first photo slot and the second portrait to the second slot.
- Choose a scene, such as Color Studio, Rooftop or Hotel Lobby.
- Write a concise story. If using a preset, replace details that do not describe your performers.
- Choose a rap style and optionally enter original lyrics you have permission to use.
For example: “Two friends celebrate finishing a long project, trading a short original verse in an orange recording booth. Keep the performance warm and playful.” Lyrics are creative instructions, not a guaranteed transcript. Exact wording and lip sync can vary.
3. Choose a supported model and review the price
MiniMax and Seedance accept the site's two-portrait workflow. Kling's current integration is solo-only. Use only options enabled in the studio; additional model availability can change.
A 5-second MiniMax 768p video uses 25 credits; 10 seconds uses 50. Seedance 720p uses 180 credits for 5 seconds or 360 for 10. The free trial is a solo MiniMax generation, so it does not cover a duet. Demo mode creates no real video.
Starting with five seconds limits the credits spent on an initial attempt. It is not a promise of higher generation quality. Review the final quote before confirming: another attempt is another generation.
4. Review the result before sharing
Check the number of people, facial consistency, hands, lyrics and any requested subtitles. A task marked successful means a video was produced and saved; it does not mean the creative result passed a human quality review.
If one performer appears twice, simplify the story and make the intended cast explicit. BARFRAME adds exactly-two-person constraints to MiniMax requests and disables its prompt expansion. These controls reduce ambiguity but cannot eliminate model errors. An already generated video is not repaired by changing the next prompt.
5. Download or share
Completed results appear in My Videos. Share offers file download and, for public works, a viewing link for X or Facebook. On supported devices, file sharing opens the system share menu. TikTok publishing is completed in TikTok; BARFRAME does not automatically post to your account. Videos remain private unless you choose public showcase sharing.
Common questions
Can I upload one group photo instead?
The current Duo form asks for two portrait uploads. This guide covers that supported workflow, rather than promising automatic person selection inside a group photo.
Does a third person count as a technical failure?
Not automatically. A completed video with an unwanted character is a quality issue. Check the terms and contact support about a specific result; do not assume that rerunning it is free.
